Sweet Willows Creamery was not on the “26 Creameries” list. They may be on another creameries list. When we realized we were close to it and it was open, we decided to go.
It is a cute building on a busy road. During these pandemic times, they are only serving through a window. Customers don’t go inside.
The flavor which intrigued both of us was Australian Ginger. We decided we would each get one scoop. Disappointingly, they were out of that flavor. I feel an experiment coming on later this summer…
I chose lavender. I had lavender ice cream at the Lavender Farm with Rachel last week but that was in Maryland, not Pennsylvania. This one had a bit more flavor, although still subtle. It was light and refreshing.
Gregg chose “Purple Cow,” blackberry with white chocolate swirl. He liked it.
