An hour drive took us to Perrydell Farm in York. There is a small store. They only sell ice cream through a walk-up window outside. The farm offers a paper for a self-guided tour through the farm. It was starting to rain so we didn’t check it out.
Perrydell’s flavor of the month is Root Beer Float ice cream so Gregg chose that and it was delicious. It was a bit more icey, probably due to the added rootbeer.
I chose Butter Pecan and enjoyed it. The texture was nice. As I sat eating it, a memory returned that Butter Pecan was my Mom’s favorite (or one of her favorite) ice cream flavors. Precious memories.
