Picture Book on Sale: There’s Only One You! With Aunt Kitten

This story developed out of my desire to encourage my youngest niece and great nieces and nephews. I enjoy observing their unique interests, abilities, talents and character traits. Each of them are different and special. My longing for them is that they come to recognize and embrace their uniqueness.

Who will like this book?

The target audience is ages 4-8. The younger children enjoy the simple watercolor pictures of the animals. I’ve heard that many children’s favorite is the ladybug.

Older children enjoy searching for the bold letters amongst the dialog which spell out that animal’s character quality.

Parents appreciate the four colorful pages which can be filled out for the child to see how the child has grown and changed. Or fill out one page for four different children. Additional pages can be printed out from the RESOURCES page on my website.

Teachers appreciate the glossary in the back, helping children to increase their vocabulary while reading this book. There is also a lesson page to practice “Wh questions” – who, what, when, where, why, which, and how.
