Way Har Farm Market is in the middle of farm lands. We keep passing signs that I love saying, “Drink local whole milk. 97% Fat Free!” It is often spray painted on a wrapped round bales of hay. I’ve been trying to get a picture all day. When we pulled up to Way Har, we laughed because we parked in front of a banner with that message.
Way Har Farm Market is an adorable market full of cute gift and decorative items, jams, baked goods, dairy, and a huge selection of ice cream. The ice cream barista knew her flavors and could answer any question immediately.
I picked the smallest serving they offer of Coffee Royale. It was coffee ice cream with a chocolate ribbon. It was not a strong coffee flavor. A nice, subtle mixture.
Gregg picked Maddy’s Monkey Madness, vanilla ice cream with strawberry swirl and banana chunks. He didn’t find any banana chunks but did have strawberry chunks.
We suspect that they offer so many flavors that the turn-over is slow. We both found the ice cream to have ice crystals and the strawberry chunks were very icy like they were freezer-burned.
I absolutely loved the store and the people. I would return for other reasons but probably not ice cream.
