We left The Burg around 5:00 p.m. and headed towards Erie, PA to begin our trek across northern Pennsylvania for a few days.
Gregg told me about “The Pennsylvania Grand Canyon.” He has never seen it. As I researched, I found that it is part of a US Route 6 “tour” which has a lot of interesting sights. After more research, we made a skeleton plan, to be adjusted as we go.
First stop…you probably guessed it…Ice Cream! KICK – Kristin’s Ice Cream Koerner is north east of Pittsburgh. Such a great name! I had mint chocolate chip ice cream with nice large chunks of chocolate. Gregg had a Fluffernutter blizzard-type concoction. The ice cream was mostly vanilla. The best part of his were the Nutter Butter cookie pieces.
