We’re back on the official creamery trail again, having eaten cupfuls of Turkey Hill ice cream.
Next stop, half an hour away, was Fox Meadows Creamery. They have a large building with a wraparound porch. Indoors is a shop and you can buy lunch as well as ice cream. The ice cream is displayed in a gelato-type case which presents beautifully.
We enjoyed sitting on the porch eating. It is hotter today than it has been on this trip, although the breeze is still nice. Their farm is behind the shop so it looks “country” yet they are on a busy road so there is constant traffic noise.
Gregg had Belgium Cookie Butter. Wow! A Biscotti cookie lover’s dream! I had Lemon Crunch, a lemon ice cream with lemon “oreo” cookie pieces. It was refreshing. I would have been just as happy without the.cookies, yet that made it different.
